We are a full-service retail furniture and mattress business, famous for discounting prices and specializing in Simmons mattresses. We provide quality name brand furniture for every room in the house. Our sales people will gladly help design a custom sofa or find just the right table, lamp or accessory. Custom sofas with hundreds of fabrics to choose from or slipcover sofas. We are family owned and operated. We sell and rent a lot of furniture to TV shows and movie studios. After being around for 50 years, if we don't have it, we will make every effort to find something for you. Both owners have received the Apple of Your Eye award from Womens Care Cottage, a shelter for homeless women. Al's Discount furnished the entire fifteen-room house for free.
The owners, Al and Jillian Siegal, belong to the local Chamber of Commerce. Al is head of the merchants for the Arts Direct expansion. Jillian was honored with the Beautiful People Award in 1999. Al's Discount works with the Red Cross to aid during earthquakes and floods and also helps on an individual basis when people have suffered through a fire, etc. The owners have given away houses full of furniture on TV shows to needy families.
Al's is well known as the place to go if you need a donation, a raffle prize or help with a charity event. Between Al and Jillian Siegal, the owners have received accolades from senators and the President of the United States for their work to help the less privileged.
